Tech Trek Camp Named ‘2018 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award’
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s AAUW Tech Trek Camp, an opportunity for middle school girls
to participate in a weeklong summer STEM experience, has been named a recipient of
INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine’s “2018 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award.â€
Benefit Raises More than $11,000 for Student Relief Fund
More than 60 Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ supporters gathered on August 23 at Tavern on the Bay to raise
funds for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Foundation’s Student Relief Fund. The fund assists Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students who encounter severe financial emergencies or
experience catastrophic events which make them financially vulnerable.

Atlantic City Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is now offered seven days a week to and from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Atlantic City. Both
the Galloway campus and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Atlantic City provide free transportation for faculty,
students and staff with their Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ ID.
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s Editorial Style Guide
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s Editorial Style Guide has been updated to include Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Atlantic City in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Locations section. There’s also a separate Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Atlantic City section with guidelines for using first and second references.
SPOTLIGHT ON
Eight Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ students who interned with the National Aviation Research & Technology Park (NARTP) at the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center presented their research at the 2018 NARTP Summer Internship Debrief on August 28 at the center.
FRAME-WORTHY

Tuition Exchange
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s status in The Tuition Exchange program has been upgraded because the University’s
imports to exports ratio has improved. As a result, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be able to award
three scholarships for Fall 2019. If you are a full-time employee and are interested
